THE CAR ISSUE #8
C/O Vienna Magazine is looking for your bold, artistic, and unexpected takes on the cult of the car: Send us your best PICTURES and TEXTS by MAY 1st 2025. Sexy, deadly, smelly – the car is a status symbol, a fetish, a freedom machine, a technological marvel, and a disaster. We’re speeding towards a wild, greasy, and thought-provoking magazine. The Car Issue will be published in November 2025.
Are you a photographer, writer, poet, or artist? Join one of the best award-winning independent magazines, printed with artistic excellence and distributed internationally in the EU, UK, and USA. Your work will be showcased alongside renowned photographers and artists, reaching a global audience in a highly curated and beautifully crafted print edition.
Whether it’s one page or twelve, you’ll get year-long marketing exposure, free copies of the magazine and lots of merch. Your artwork will be published in English and German in an issue with a total of around 300 PAGES and a print run of over 5,000 copies. The art direction will be handled by the Viennese branding & design agency SEITE ZWEI.
Photography – Up to 10 images (max. 1,200 px, 72 dpi, JPG) with a short description of your work. If selected, we’ll request high-res files. Name your files: Lastname_Firstname_Title_1. Only 72 dpi!
Text – Existing work or pitch with text samples: Report, Poem, Essay, Interview, or Review (max. 7,000 to 10,000 characters including spaces). Submit your text or pitch along with the samples as a Word file and name it: Lastname_Firstname_Title_1.
