The small, fine Artist Café
A magical place, which, by the way, was once used as a location for a scene from “Before Sunrise”. It’s really like a stage set.
Our New York correspondent Jakob Winkler loves the Franziskanerplatz with the Petrusbrunnen fountain. Not far from the opera house and the Kärntnerstraße shopping mile, on this quaint square you have to make a stop at the legendary Kleines Café – the “Little Café”. It’s not the typical Viennese coffee house, rather more Parisian style with bistro tables and leather couches. It is really very small but also really very cozy. Lounge around outside in summer!
